Planning a trip soon? If you’re flying out of NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport), here’s something you should know: starting September 14, 2025, terminal fees are getting a price update.
The New Rates
- International flights: ₱950 (previously ₱550)
- Domestic flights: ₱390 (previously ₱200)
The increase is part of NAIA’s push to upgrade facilities and improve services for passengers.
Who Doesn’t Need to Pay?
Some travelers are still exempt from terminal fees—just make sure you bring the right documents. Exempted passengers include:
- OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers)
- Infants (2 years old and below)
- Flight crew on duty
- Pilgrims on religious travel
- National athletes & sports delegates
- Medal of Valor awardees
What This Means for You
Most airlines already include terminal fees in your ticket, so you probably won’t need to line up to pay separately. But if you’re exempt, make sure to get your documents sorted so you don’t get charged.
Why the Change?
The added fees will go toward modernizing NAIA—think better facilities, smoother processes, and a more comfortable airport experience for everyone.
Travel Tip: Book your flights early and double-check your ticket details so you know exactly what’s covered!
